WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
Standard lab tests are analyzed in isolation rather than in combination. Since the body is series of interconnected systems, combination analysis is closer to the dynamic reality of life. For example, there are many systems that play a role in inflammation long before the marker CRP becomes elevated. Evaluating all the ways inflammation is generated allows for earlier detection of low-grade inflammation and personalized treatment options.

Standard hormone measurements only indicate how much hormone was produced by a gland. It says nothing about their functional effects individually or in concert within tissues. Because there are hormone sub-receptors, cytoplasmic and nuclear response elements, harmful effects of environmental pollutants, etc., blood levels of hormones are not a reliable indicator of how the body is using hormones. The tissue level assessment should be the gold standard of the effects of hormones on health and illness.
